Mathilde

Poor little Cornelius died suddenly a few days ago so I made a kitty sculpture and thought to paint it to look like our wee tuxie darling, but somehow it never felt right, and I realized afterwards it was because the face staring up at me looked more like Mathilde. So here she is in all her calico glory, colored in using Procreate.

And here she is basking in the knowledge that even Hollywood wanted to celebrate her beauty.

And here’s the original figurine/sculpture/statuette … btw, the wee sketches which I based the sculpture upon were kitties originally created using the letter R.
